Udinese forward Keinan Davis has accused Cagliari defender Alberto Dossena of racially abusing him during their Serie A clash, claiming Dossena called him a “monkey” on the pitch.
After the match, Davis took to social media to label Dossena a “racist coward”. The game had already turned heated in the final moments, with players from both sides involved in a scuffle.
Cagliari and Dossena have not yet responded to the allegations. Serie A has frequently handed out disciplinary sanctions for racial abuse incidents involving fans or players in recent years.
