On May 11, the 2026 Yan’an Zichang City Primary and Secondary School Campus Football League officially kicked off at Zichang Junior High School. The five-day tournament, running until May 15, brings together young football talents from schools across the city to compete on the green field and showcase the vibrant spirit of the new generation.
To promote the values of teamwork, fairness, and competitive excellence, Zichang City’s Education and Sports Bureau organized the 2026 Campus Football, Basketball, and Volleyball Championships, scheduled from May 11 to 22 at four local schools. The football league is a key part of this “Big Three Sports” event, which will also feature the selection of the “Sportsmanship Award” to recognize outstanding conduct.
This competition not only provides an excellent platform for students to demonstrate their football skills and exchange ideas, but also serves as a crucial step in advancing the integration of sports and education, strengthening the foundation of campus football development. The league includes three categories: high school men’s and women’s 11-a-side football, junior high school men’s and women’s 8-a-side football, and elementary school mixed-gender 8-a-side football, ensuring full coverage across all school levels.
During the matches, participating teams displayed solid technical abilities and tenacious fighting spirit. Every moment—passing, shooting, tackling, and defending—was filled with intensity and excitement. Players showed excellent teamwork, supporting each other on the field while cheers from the sidelines reflected the youthful energy and positive attitude of the students.
