A difficult season for Real Madrid is taking a heavy toll on several of its players, who ultimately bear the responsibility for the club’s mixed fortunes. As a result, four of the ten most devalued professionals in LaLiga this campaign belong to the white club, with two of them topping the list.
Jude Bellingham and Rodrygo have each lost €40 million in market value, making them the biggest decliners in Spain’s top flight. Bellingham now stands at €140 million, while Rodrygo, who suffered a serious injury, is valued at €50 million. Both have performed well below expectations, as has much of the Real Madrid squad.
Vinicius Junior is also among the ten most devalued, having dropped €20 million to a current valuation of €150 million. Raúl Asencio rounds out the Madrid contingent with a €15 million decline, now worth €25 million.
FC Barcelona’s Gavi sits third on the list, losing €30 million this season and falling to €30 million—far from his peak of €90 million.
Behind the Barcelona midfielder is Oihan Sancet of Athletic Club, who has lost €25 million, dropping to €30 million. His teammate Nico Williams also features prominently, down €20 million to €50 million. Athletic’s defender Dani Vivian completes the San Mamés club’s major declines with a €15 million drop, now valued at €25 million.
Atlético Madrid’s Ademola Lookman lost €20 million, now at €40 million, while his teammate Robin Le Normand rounds out the top ten with a €15 million decline to €25 million.
